Starting from the sports field on Wentworth Barracks on Sunday 1^st June 2008, the Herford & Bad Salzuflen Bismarck Challenge is an arduous cross country event which takes in the scenic views of two Bismarck towers.  Covering a distance of 14.1 miles competitors will be able to compete as either a runner or ‘tabber’ (males to carry 17kg, females 12kg).    Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 competitors (male & female) of each event to cross the finish line, with every competitor receiving the coveted ‘finishers t-shirt’ and a free drink.

Entry fees are €15 for advanced registration, €17 if you register on the day.  This covers all administration fees and prizes with all remaining monies being equally donated to the Army Benevolent Fund and the Herforder Kinderschaft.

Timings: The gates will open for registration at 0900hrs, registration will close at 1030hrs.  Tabbing race will start at 1035hrs and the runners at 1100. Presentations will be held at 1430hrs.
